Quality & compliance
Checked in India, so it clears at your port
Most problems in international trade are found too late — at destination. Our process is designed to find them at the producer, while they can still be fixed.
Our quality process
Four checkpoints for every lot
Producer qualification
We visit the producer, check licences, hygiene and capacity, and record what we find before placing an order.
Approved sample
You approve a sample against a written specification. That sample becomes the reference for the whole order.
In-process checks
We check raw material and work in progress — grade, moisture, cleaning and packing — while production runs.
Pre-shipment inspection
The finished lot is inspected and, where agreed, tested by an accredited lab or a third-party inspection agency before sealing.
Testing
What we test for
Tests depend on the product and your market. These are the checks most food and agri buyers ask for; reports come from NABL-accredited laboratories.
| Parameter | Why it matters | Typical method |
|---|---|---|
| Moisture | Shelf life, mould risk and weight accuracy | Oven-dry / moisture analyser |
| Grade, size & purity | Matches the approved sample and contract | Sieve / count analysis, visual inspection |
| Aflatoxins & mycotoxins | Strict limits in the EU, UK, USA and GCC | HPLC or LC-MS/MS |
| Pesticide residues | Must meet the destination's maximum residue limits | LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS multi-residue |
| Microbiology | Salmonella, E. coli, yeast and mould counts | ISO / BAM methods |
| Foreign matter | Stones, insects and extraneous material | Visual and sieve inspection |
| Packing & labels | Correct net weight, lot codes and destination labelling | Checked against the approved artwork |
Market requirements
We plan for your regulations
A summary of what typically applies to food shipments in our main markets. We confirm the exact requirements for each product and order.
| Market | What typically applies |
|---|---|
| United States | FDA food facility registration of the producer, Prior Notice before arrival, FDA labelling rules; the importer's FSVP programme |
| Canada | CFIA rules under the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations; importer's SFC licence; bilingual (English/French) labels |
| United Arab Emirates | Product registration and Arabic labelling; preferential duty under India–UAE CEPA with a valid certificate of origin |
| United Kingdom | UK food law and maximum residue levels; pre-notification for higher-risk foods; preferential origin where the India–UK trade agreement applies |
| European Union | EU maximum residue levels and contaminant limits; increased official controls for some products from India |
This is general guidance, not legal advice. Rules change; we check current requirements before each shipment.
